Liver Pate

  1. Rinse carrots, peel them and then cut in half.
  2. Rinse chicken liver. After that trim connective tissue and fat.
  3. Pour water in a pan and bring to boil. Put the liver and carrots into the pan.
  4. Add salt and bay leaf into the pan.
  5. Simmer until carrots are soft.
  6. Let carrots and liver to cool down.
  7. Place carrots, liver, butter and black pepper into a food processor or blender. Add liver broth if needed. Blend until smooth.
  8. Serve with flaxseed crackers.
