Mayonnaise is a dressing for salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. It works well in baking and grilled meat.

There are few ways to make mayonnaise. We will tell you about two of them.

Instructions using a food processor or stationary blender:

  1. Put egg in a container and add salt with lemon juice.eggs
  2. Turn on the device for 20 seconds.blended eggs
  3. Add olive oil and blend for another 20 seconds.oil beaten egg
  4. Add more oil if mayonnaise is not thick enough. Then blend a couple of seconds more. Taste mayonnaise and regulate with additional salt. Then blend a few seconds more.blend mayo
  5. Mayonnaise is ready to use.

Instructions using hand blender:

  1. Put egg, salt and lemon juice to the blender cup. Put blender “leg” on yolk and then turn on the blender for 10 seconds.
  2. Continue mixing with blender, carefully and very slowly add olive oil. If you pure oil too fast, you will get liquid mayonnaise.
  3. When the beaten egg has spread in oil, start moving blender up and down the cup.
  4. Add more oil if mayonnaise is not thick enough. Then blend a few seconds more.
  5. Taste mayonnaise and regulate with additional salt. Then blend a couple seconds more.
  6. Mayonnaise is ready to use.

Keep mayonnaise in a closed jar in refrigerator. Mayo can last from 3 days to a week depending on freshness of used eggs.
