Instructions:
- Marinade pork ribs with Montreal steak seasoning and olive oil, then leave at least for an hour.
- Rinse rice until water becomes clear. Leave the rice covered with water for at least 30 minutes.
- Add lard and ribs on preheated skillet or make ribs on a grill. Fry until golden brown on all sides. Ribs must be rare fried. They will be cooked with rice.
- Rinse carrots and then peel them, and after that fine grate.
- Add grated carrots onto the skillet with lard. Fry until golden brown.
- Return fried ribs to the skillet with carrots. Mix it with spatula.
- Clean top layers of garlic cloves.
- Put rice into the skillet and cover it with water. After that place bay leaf and unpeeled garlic cloves into the rice. Cover skillet with a lid.
- Simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is soft.
- Next turn off heat and cover with a towel for at least 30 minutes.
- Plov is ready. Serve warm with salad or pickles, or fresh vegetables.
